Elio's B Pack - 6 Weeks Old

Hard to believe the puppies are already 6 weeks old! Time sure flies when there are fourteen little ones to train and love on. Feels like yesterday we were helping Elio birth them; now they are just two weeks away from being ready to go to their homes and we couldn't be more proud!

The puppies are showing their personalities more and more every day. They're playing with each other more and more (and their toys). At 6 weeks, they no longer need their mom; they need each other, so these weeks have been filled with play and loud yips. They enjoyed their first bath, and were even treated with nice, delicious apples! Some have joined us at the table for snuggles during games of Catan and euchre—the best way to play any board game if you ask us!!

They are learning how to greet us with a sit when we approach their room, and most are doing very good with this! We are also starting to work on potty-training, and those who've been claimed are beginning to learn their names.

Pink collar did well during her first outing to a wrestling meet (our boys are wrestlers, which provides great exposure for the pups to constant new smells, loud noises, and new people). All fourteen puppies went on a short trip to the vet to get their immunization shots and to be microchipped.
