Puppies Galore!

Twas the day after Christmas when all through the house…all the dogs were stirring because Elio went into labor!

Over the course of 6 hours, Elio gave birth to FOURTEEN healthy puppies! Our disbelief over the number of puppies is quickly overcome by joy as we listen to their sweet squeals.

13. Light green collar, red girl

14. White collar, red girl

The total count:

• 9 girls, 5 boys

• 3 black puppies

• 3 chocolate puppies

• 5 red puppies

• 3 yellow puppies

Elio has since enjoyed a much-deserved bath and a nutritious meal of tuna and salmon.
