Memory Lane - Ginger's C Pack Recap

Welcome back to our Memory Lane mini-series! This mini-series is to reminisce in the memories of the first four litters here at Birchmeier Star Labs as we eagerly wait to welcome Elio's next litter. If this is the first post you're reading, be sure to check out the first three litters!

We will be ending our mini-series with Ginger's third and final litter, her C pack. Ginger was bred with a black stud, Bart. Like Elio, Ginger had TWELVE puppies in May 2025. Four males, eight females. One red puppy, three yellow puppies, eight black puppies.

Ginger's last litter was a tough labor. The last four puppies were delivered via an emergency C-Section, and the last puppy was unfortunately stillborn. We had eleven healthy puppies to care for, along with Elio's healthy eleven puppies.

The two week old puppies are starting to open their eyes! They are so sweet and cuddly. They are getting more active but look calm compared to Elio's older puppies.

At three weeks, they got their first taste of kibble mush. They were a mess but seemed to very much enjoy their first meal. Additionally they are old enough to play outside with Elio's puppies and they love it!

At five weeks old, we have to keep a close eye on all the pups; Elio's puppies are bigger than Ginger's and are playing rougher. We have our hands full!!!

Our first eight week old puppy, Tess, went to her forever home. We prepared Luna and Poppy for their flights home. Luna is pretty flexible and Poppy is a bit of a diva; they are both adjusting well. Maizy was the next puppy to go to her forever home, followed by Abbie, Poppy, Luna, Shadow, and Bogey. Cruz and Comet left to go to their own homes, and finally, Ozzy and Charlie found their own fur-ever homes.
